Pat Moffett provides on-site consulting opinions related to building defects, mold, bacteria, chemicals and other environmentally-caused issues; best practices and standards of care; review of depositions regarding other experts’ testimonies; cataloging and reviewing laboratory data; analysis and opinions related to scientific data, building damage and repair cost estimating.
Pat served on the national standards committee of ASTM - specifically, E-50.01 Environmental Site Assessments for Phase I and Phase II remediation standards; and E-50.06, the standards committee for Green (Healthy) Buildings. He serves as a committee member to the Water Loss Institute (WLI), a division of RIA.
Over the past 25 years, Pat has published numerous articles and several technician text books on managing building sickness, indoor air quality investigations, water damage mitigation, sewage containment, bloodborne pathogens, odor control and the physics of how buildings dry.
Pat is also retained in litigation related claims as an Appraiser to assess and evaluate water, mold and sewage damage cases.
