Steve Travers brings over 20 years of experience both in the field as well as in the classroom to the Allstate Services Training Programs. Responsibilities over the years have included management of environmental consulting operations, which include inspections, risk assessments, writing and compiling of specifications, technical reviews, and abatement / hazard management consulting. Mr. Travers has special expertise in asbestos, lead and HAZMAT issues. Additional duties have included development and supervision of all in-service staff training and lead inspector apprenticeship training programs.

Mr. Travers has been a guest lecturer on lead testing, risk assessment, in-place management and abatement for training & educational institutions such as the Aulson Company Environmental Training Facility; New York University; US EPA Sponsored, Western Regional Lead Training Center; US EPA Sponsored, Northeast Regional Lead Training Center; and the University of North Dakota.

Mr. Travers is a California Certified Asbestos Consultant and further serves as an instructor for courses including asbestos building inspector, manager / planner, supervisor, designer and worker.
